Are the fragrances 100% authentic?

Yes. At Cologne Authority, we proudly guarantee that every fragrance we offer is 100% authentic—sourced directly from brand-authorized retailers or manufacturers. We do not sell replicas, knockoffs, or imitations. For sampling purposes, each fragrance is carefully hand-decanted into a new atomizer without altering its original formula in any way. Cologne Authority operates independently and is not affiliated with or endorsed by any brand or manufacturer. Every decant is repackaged with precision and integrity.


What is a decant?

A decant is a smaller, travel-friendly bottle filled with genuine fragrance that has been carefully transferred from the original full-size bottle. At Cologne Authority, our decants allow you to explore a scent before committing to a full bottle—luxury on your terms.


How is a decant done?

Our decanting process is done by hand using clean, professional tools in a controlled environment. The fragrance is never altered or diluted—only transferred into a high-quality atomizer for ease and convenience.


How long does a sample last?

1ml ≈ 15 sprays

3ml ≈ 45 sprays

5ml ≈ 75 sprays

10ml ≈ 150 sprays

Shelf life varies depending on storage, but samples typically maintain quality for 3–6 months.


What is the best way to store my sample?

Store your sample in a cool, dry place—away from direct sunlight, heat, and humidity. Always keep the cap secured tightly to preserve the fragrance’s integrity.


Are the decants spray or dab application?

All Cologne Authority decants feature spray atomizers to provide a premium and consistent application experience.


Are the decants/samples labeled?

Yes. Each sample is clearly labeled with the fragrance name and brand for easy identification.


Why are the bottles made of glass instead of plastic?

Glass preserves the fragrance’s quality over time better than plastic. It’s more durable, elegant, and ideal for long-term storage.


Are the samples travel safe?

Absolutely. Our decants are TSA-compliant in size and housed in sturdy vials, making them perfect for travel.


Where do you ship?

We currently ship to addresses within the continental United States.


How long does shipping take?

Standard shipping within the U.S. typically takes 2–3 business days. Please note that delays may occur depending on the carrier or external circumstances beyond our control.


How can I track my order?

Tracking information is available in your Cologne Authority account. Simply log in, navigate to your orders, and view the tracking details for your shipment.


Can my order be cancelled?

If your order has not yet shipped, it may be cancelled by contacting our customer care team. If the order has already shipped, we accept returns of unopened items; however, return shipping is the responsibility of the customer. A refund will be processed upon receipt and inspection of the returned item.


What payment methods do you accept?

We accept all major credit cards.


What should I do if my items arrive damaged or incorrect?

If your order arrives damaged or incorrect, please contact us within 3 days of delivery. Include your order details and a clear photo of the item as received.
Photo evidence is required for all replacement requests.


What if I received the wrong fragrance?

If you received the wrong item, we sincerely apologize. Please contact us within 3 days with a photo of the incorrect product, and we will promptly send a replacement.
Photo documentation is required for all corrections.


What if my shipment is marked “delivered,” but I didn’t receive it?

Cologne Authority is not responsible for packages marked as “delivered” by the carrier but reported missing. In some cases, carriers may scan packages as delivered before they arrive. Please allow 1–2 business days for possible delayed delivery before reaching out.


Can I request a fragrance that’s not listed?

Yes! We welcome requests. Use the "Request a Fragrance" link in our website footer, and we’ll do our best to source it for you.
